The Structure of FPDC
The FPDC is an incorporated company limited by guarantee and exists to represent its contractor membership, promoting best practice, excellence and professionalism in plastering, drylining and associated trades.
Council
The governance and strategic direction of FPDC is vested in a Council, which meets quarterly. Nomination for Council membership is open to contractor members and aims to represent the diversity of trades and sectors in FPDC membership.
Council is comprised of:
- The Executive Committee (see below)
- Six Contractor Members (elected regionally and serving a 3 year term)
- The Chair of the main FPDC sub Task Groups, as determined by Council
- No more than six co-opted Contractor Members (must resign annually but can be re-elected)
The Executive Committee
The Officers of the FPDC (listed below) constitute an Executive Committee and, other than the Immediate Past President, are the registered Directors of the company. The Officers are nominated by Council for election at the AGM. They hold office for one year and they are eligible for re-election for a second term of office.

Task Groups
Council appoints a number of task groups that recommend policies and courses of action to Council. Participation is open to any contractor member and associate member by invitation.

- Technical
- Training
Management
